Changing my position

I was originally opposed to using agave nectar on my anti-candida program. It is low glycemic, and really popular as a sweetener these days, but it is still found to feed candida.
I have made considerable progress and can happily say that I can include fruits in my diet! I have made it to what I consider stage two.
Since I’ve been able to tolerate some fruits successfully, I tried using just a little agave here and there for about a week. My body is responding well to it, as long as I don’t overdo it. So, I’ll be adding agave nectar to the list of sweeteners that I use, and I’ll be featuring recipes using it.
If you would like to use agave on your healing program, I do have a few suggestions:
*Do not use it when you are first starting out. Stick with stevia, yacon powder and syrup, vegetable glycerin and erythritol until you have made some considerable progress. For me, progress is being able to eat fruit in controlled amounts.
*Do not use it as your primary sweetener when you are able to start including it in your diet. I’m a fan of rotation, and I believe your sweeteners should be rotated as well.
